1Thrive Command Center Review

I’m the first person to admit that I struggle with keeping organized. In middle school my trapper keeper (remember those?!) was always overfilled with old papers and a complete mess. Flash forward to being an adult and sadly my organizational skills haven’t improved much. I’ve tried countless apps, binders, planners and everything in between and nothing seems to work.

Since working from home I’ve been obsessed with the show Get Organized with Home Edit and trying to incorporate some of what they teach into my daily life. I’m also a real person and need to be practical – I don’t have millions of dollars to spend on Container Store bins!

I started seeing 1Thrive ads on my Facebook and was instantly intrigued. They advertised an all in one “command center” for your family – basically an all in one place to keep important docs, schedules, mail, keys, etc. and in a stylish way. Something that’s functional and stylish?! Count me in!

I’ve had my command center for a few weeks now and wanted to share my experience with it.

What is a 1Thrive Command Center?

A 1Thrive Command Center is a one stop shop (or command center) for your family. It has everything to keep you and your family organized – calendar, a spot for keys, pens, a place to keep the mail (that actually looks good!),and a spot for your weekly menu. There are a few different types of command center that have different accessories, but generally they come with:

• Black Board Header – this is where you can write your family’s name, motivational quote, or anything you want! The command centers come with washable chalk markers so you can always change it up!
• Monthly Calendar and White Board
• File Storage for bills and other important documents
• Cork boards
• Hooks to hang keys, hats, etc.
• Hanging Buckets for markers, magnets, and other loose items

What’s Included with the Command Centers?

Each command center (aka the 1Thrive wall organizer starter kit) comes with a set of 2 non toxic liquid chalk markers. Both the white board are magnetic and will only work with these special markers.

What Accessories are Available?

One of the best parts of the 1Thrive command center is that you can totally customize the board for your needs. The systems and accessories are interchangeable so you can add on as many accessories as you want, and they work across all the different style systems they offer. Currently they offer:

• Over the Door Brackets
• File Folder
• Envelope Holder
• Cork Strip (pin photos, invitations, etc.)
• Hooks Strip (hang your keys, hats, etc.)
• Extra Cork Boards (currently they have a medium one available)
• Medium Lined Monthly Blackboard
• Bucket Cups (to store extra pens, crafts and any other loose item. These currently are available in black and gold)
• Small To Do Blackboard
• File Folders
• Weekly Black Board (this is great to use for a weekly meal plan!)
• Extra Chalk Markers

I started small and only got the starter kit, extra chalk markers (I’m obsessed with this pretty color set!), and extra bucket cups but when I re-do Little A’s room and get one for her I plan to get a few extra cork strips to hang her art work.

What I Like

One of my favorite things about these boards is how stylish they are! I always tried to avoid having a cork board or having a huge white board in my house because I thought they just looked so cluttered and ugly. With 1Thread I’m able to have an organized station that I’m not embarrassed of – it’s actually a part of my home decor!

I’ve found that by having 1Thrive I’ve become more organized because I look forward to filling out the calendar and weekly meal plan.

What I’m Not a Fan of

The command centers are a little pricey when you first start out. The starter systems start at $119 and can go all the way up to $165, depending on the model you get. But when you compare the price to similar ones on the market it’s actually a really good deal. The 1Thrive systems are stylish, help with organization and are extremely sturdy. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and I’ve been really impressed with it.

Conclusion

I think it’s safe to say I’m in love with the 1Thrive command center! I’m the first person to admit that I’m the least organized person but with 1Thrive I’ve actually been able to stick a system to keep my organized. The board’s are also so stylish and fit into my house’s decor – I’ve actually been getting compliments about them from our friends!
