My 2022 Peloton Wishlist
I can’t believe it’s already almost 2022! This year Peloton brought us a ton of new features (like the strive score and pause button!) and equipment (Peloton tread re-released) and I’m really hoping in 2022 there are even more exciting things launched.
Here are a few things that I hope Peloton comes out within the next year.
Pause Buton on Tread
I’d love to see a pause button come out for the tread! I have a feeling this one might be in the works since the Bike pause button has been rolling out.
Update: This one happened! Pause on the Peloton Tread is now available!
Notes Section for Strength Workouts
I would love to see a notes section for strength workouts. So many times the classes mention taking notes of the weights you used or how many rounds you get in an AMRAP (as many rounds as possible), and it’d be nice to have a way to track progress in the app instead of random notes on your phone.
Recommended Benchmark Classes
Similarly, I’d love to see a feature where Peloton recommends classes to see if you’ve improved. For example, if you take a class with an AMRAP it would be nice if a month later they recommend that same class to see if you can increase the rounds.
Or if you did an especially challenging run, they could recommend retaking that run a month later to see any improvements.

Weekly Workout Scheduling
It would be nice to have a way to schedule out your entire week’s of workouts. Peloton currently has the ability to schedule rides, but you need to select a certain time for the rides to occur – if you miss it, the workout disappears.
I’d love to be able to create a week of workouts and have them loaded and ready to go (yes, this could be done in a stack but hey I can dream!)
More Outdoor Content
During the summer I go through outdoor content like crazy. I’d love to see more than one or two classes released a week.
Pace Breakout
This is one thing that’s been bugging me a lot about the tread. When you go to do a tread workout, there’s a place for average pace – the problem is, it includes warmups (usually mostly walking) and cooldowns.
I would love if Peloton could breakout my warmup, workout, and cooldown paces so I could see a more accurate view of what my workout pace is.
Power Zone Zone Callout
This year I would love to see a spot for a call out on what power zone you’re supposed to be in during a ride. Peloton has reminders for cadence and resistance in regular rides, so it would be nice to see something above the Power Zone ride to remind us the goal zone.
I always tend to blank out during some of the longer blocks so a reminder would be nice!
Peloton Tonal
My ultimate dream is that Peloton comes out with its own version of the Tonal. They have the guide coming out which is nice, but I’d rather get an all-in-one system that not only corrects my form but can also adjust my weights.
Artist Series
My dream artist series for 2022 would be:
Kid Cudi
Taking Back Sunday
Blink 182
Kanye
Bryce Vine
and Brand New
Final Thoughts
I’m really excited to see what Peloton has planned for 2022 and am really hoping some of these features on my wishlist are part of them!
