A New Way to Approach Diet
Right away when I started reading the book Joel addressed my first concern about how this wasn’t a restrictive diet and it was ok to eat after certain times. In previous diets I had tried there always was a focus on foods to avoid and when to eat them – I felt so stuck. If I didn’t time a meal perfectly, or was still hungry after my last meal I felt like I had messed up on my diet and felt like giving up.
My goal with this new diet is to lose 5lbs and learn a sustainable maintenance method (and boost my energy doing it!). In the past I’d get too relaxed with my maintenance when I hit my goals and I’m hoping with this diet I’ll learn how to maintain the weight easily.
