Classes are a great way to mix up your workouts, try something new, and meet some new friends. The classes are taught by certified personal trainer and are offered both in person and on demand.

In this article we’ll go over the different types of classes and what is included in the different Life Time membership tiers.

Highlights

Life Time memberships offer a variety of classes and amenities to explore.

Varying workouts, getting involved in the community, and using digital features can enhance the overall experience.

Setting goals and asking for help from staff/trainers are effective ways to stay motivated and reach fitness targets.

The ultimate goal is to have fun and make the most out of your Life Time membership. Remember to make the most of your time and enjoy the experience!

Understanding the Different Membership Tiers

With Life Time Fitness, there are three tiers to talk about: Digital, Standard, and Signature.

Starting with the Digital Membership, think of this as your fitness Netflix! You can access thousands of online classes and training programs on your device. You can work up a sweat in the living room, kitchen, or garden.

Moving on to the Standard Membership this is where things start to get interesting. You get all the digital perks plus the freedom to hit some of the clubs across the nation. Whether you’re into hardcore weightlifting, yoga, or dance fitness, you can usually find a gym that offers what you need.

Last but not least is the Signature Membership, the VIP of fitness experiences. Everything mentioned before is included, along with additional small group classes, priority booking, and access to more exclusive clubs.

Exploring Group Classes in Detail

Group fitness classes are the heart and soul of Life Time’s fitness community.

You know those high-energy, fun-filled, and dynamic workouts that make you forget you’re even exercising? That’s what we’re talking about! These classes come in all shapes and sizes, from heart-pounding cardio sessions to calming yoga flows, providing something for every fitness taste.

So, how do they work?

First, check the schedule at your local Life Time gym or on your app. Choose a class that sounds fun and fits your schedule. Arrive early to secure your spot, especially in the more popular classes.

Then, let the instructors guide you through a workout that’s as challenging as it is enjoyable. Bring your A-game and water bottle, and get ready to sweat, laugh, and feel the burn!

It’s like a fitness party with friends – friends who motivate you to push beyond your comfort zone and cheer as you reach new heights. The vibe can be infectious, and before you know it, you’ll be counting down the minutes to your next class.

Small Group Training – A Closer Look

Alpha Strength

Alpha Strength is Life Time’s strength focused program. The class is 1 hour long and includes similar moves to what you would find in Cross Fit. The workout will include barbells, pull ups, rowing and more, all lead by a professional trainer.

GTX

GTX is a small group class that splits the class in half – half cardio done on a treadmill or bike, and half strength training. Participants are encouraged to wear a heart rate monitor to watch your zones, similar to Orangetheory Fitness.

Ultra Fit

Ultra Fit is a high-intensity, circuit-style workout designed to push you to your limits and a little bit beyond. Think heart-pumping, sweat-dripping, muscle-aching intensity. Don’t let that scare you off! Because as tough as these sessions can be, they’re also some of the most rewarding workouts you’ll ever experience.

And the best part? Every Ultra Fit session is different. You won’t ever find yourself stuck in a rut because just when you think you’ve figured it all out, boom! A brand new circuit with fresh challenges is waiting for you.

How to Maximize Your Membership

Let’s talk about how you can milk your Life Time membership for all it’s worth. Here’s the inside scoop:

  • Explore all the classes: With so many fantastic options, there’s always something new to try. Don’t shy away from classes you’ve never done; you might find your new favorite workout!
  • Mix it up: Keep your workouts fresh and fun by varying what you do. Combine high-intensity days with more relaxed sessions like yoga or swimming.
  • Take advantage of the facilities: Your membership comes with access to some top-notch amenities, including pools, spas, and cafes. Use these to get the most out of your Life Time experience.
  • Get involved in the community: Participate in events, join social clubs, and make friends. After all, everything is more fun with friends!
  • Use the digital features: Remember your digital membership benefits. You’ve got a treasure trove of online classes and training programs waiting to be explored.
