Aura Bora Sparkling Water Review

I absolutely love sparkling water!

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t drink nearly enough water, but with sparkling water it helps me get in a little more each day than I normally would.

Since being on my health journey I’ve replaced most of my sodas with sparkling water, and Aura Bora has quickly become one of my favorites.

In this post I’ll share my review of Aura Bora, how it compares to other sparkling waters and why you need to try it.

Aura Bora provided me a variety pack to try but all opinions are my own

What is Aura Bora?

Aura Bora is a brand of sparkling water that’s become super popular over the years. Their sparkling water is made with natural fruit flavors and essences, and they offer a variety of unique flavor combos.

I first learned about Aura Bora the way I tend to learn about most new products nowadays – Shark Tank!

It’s one of my favorite shows and I love trying all the different products (like the California Beach Co Pop n’ Go Playpen and Hatch Noise Machine).

I loved how fun the packaging looked and unique the flavors sounded, so I decided to order a variety pack to get a taste of them all.

Aura Bora Review

The first one I tried was the Lavender Cucumber and was impressed after the first sip. I didn’t get so much lavender, but the cucumber tasted way more fresh than it typically does to me in canned drinks.

You know how delicious the infused water is at a spa? Aura Bora tasted similar (and just as fresh!), just carbonated.

The next one I tried was Peppermint Watermelon, which is a flavor combination I never would’ve thought would work together but somehow it works perfectly. The peppermint wasn’t overpowering and tasted light and refreshing.

I was really impressed how balanced all the flavors were and how unique every one was. They also tasted incredibly fresh – not artificial or like other sparkling waters I’ve tried.

The only downside is that they are slightly more expensive than cans of sparkling water you’d find in stores (Aura Bora’s about $2.75 a can vs. La Croix is $.49) but the quality is definitely worth it.

Overall I really enjoyed all the unique flavors and combinations and its quickly become my go to drink.

I like to drink it as it is, but they do also have some fun cocktail and mocktail recipes on their site that look delicious!

How is Aura Bora Different?

Aura Bora is different than other sparkling waters you’ll find in stores because of their unique flavor combinations as well as the quality.

While most sparkling waters tend to be fruity or citrusy, Aura Bora offers flavors like Rosemary Mint and Lavender Lemon.

I also find Aura Bora’s flavor to taste more fresh than regular sparkling water you’d find in grocery stores.

I usually drink La Croix and after drinking Aura Bora I find La Croix’s flavors a little dull. Aura Bora’s flavors are unique and flavorful, without being overpowering. It’s impressive how balanced they are!

Is Aura Bora Sweet?

I don’t think Aura Bora is overly sweet at all! The sparkling waters taste true to their flavor names since they use all natural herbs and ingredients to make the flavors.

Where to Buy

Aura Bora can be bought directly on their website here for $33 for a 12 pack. You can also find them at grocery stores like Fresh Thyme and local co-ops.

Flavors Available

Currently Aura Bora is available in:

They also have limited edition ones they’ll occasionally release like Lime Cardamom.

Nutritional Information

One of my favorite things about Aura Bora is that since it’s just infused water, there’s 0 calories! For those of us who are health conscious or watching our weight, this is a huge plus.

Aura Bora also doesn’t have any sodium, which is another selling point for me. Too much sodium can cause water retention and bloating, so I appreciate that Aura Bora sparkling waters are low in sodium.

Final Thoughts

If you’re looking for a truly refreshing and unique drink I highly recommend trying out Aura Bora.

The flavors are more unique than other sparkling waters, and I find the flavors a little stronger than you’ll usually find in sparkling water.
