When I had Aubrey my world completely changed. Obviously I suddenly had a new baby to take care of, but I also had less (or pretty much zero) time for myself anymore.
Before having Aubrey I was really active. I loved running and doing group fitness, especially Orangetheory classes. I started Orangetheory (or OTF) when I was looking to start adding on strength training to my cardio. I became hooked on Orangetheory almost instantly! The classes combine cardio, rowing and strength training in different blocks. All classes are only an hour long and the goal is the get into the Orange zone - aka a custom heart rate zone for you that maximizes calories burned. It's a super fun, fast paced workout with an amazing community.
I did OTF for almost 3 years until my studio closed (they later relocated). During that time life happened - I got married, moved and had a baby! So things were pretty hectic!
After having Aubrey I jumped back into running and doing inhome workouts during her naps. It felt great to be back to working out, but I still missed the community aspect of it.
Now that Aubrey's a little older I've decided to get back into Orangetheory! While I can't go as much as I used it, I'm still really excited to get back into the workouts and community.
I still have about 10lbs to lose before I get to my goal weight and I'm sure I'll be able to get there with OTF!
Have you tried OTF?
