Does Caraway Cookware Actually Live Up to the Hype? A Mom’s Review
These days, I’m looking for anything that will make my life simpler. I have 2 little kids at home, so I need things in my life that are practical and make life a little easier.
My Instagram feed lately has been filled with pictures of influencers with Caraway cookware so I was instantly intrigued.
The pots and pans looked beautiful, but do they actually work like they promise? Could they actually make cooking and cleanup easier?
And do they actually look as beautiful in person as they do in pictures?
In this post I’ll share with you my experience with Caraway and if the cookware actually lives up to the hype!
Caraway provided me with samples however all opinions are my own.

What is Caraway Cookware?
Caraway is a company that makes ceramic cookware and bakeware. They’re non-toxic and naturally non-stick because they’re made with ceramic.
It’s also healthier since it’s a safe alternative to Teflon and other non-stick pots and pans because it doesn’t release toxins into your food when you’re cooking with it.
The pots and pans are also absolutely beautiful and modern. When my set arrived I was in awe of how beautiful they were – they definitely lived up to the Instagram photos!
But do they actually work?
I had to find out so I put them to the test!

So…Does It Work?
The first thing I decided to test out was making a classic – macaroni and cheese. I’ve been obsessed lately with Banza’s Mac and Cheese so thought this would be a good test of the Caraway pots.

I grabbed the pot, added water, and followed the instructions. I noticed that the pot came to a boil a lot faster than my old pot did – which was a major win with 2 hangry kids.
I can’t say if the pot cooked the noodles any faster since I followed the instructions, but I did notice I was able to cook them on the lower end of cook time and they came out perfect.
I drained the noodles, added them back to the pot, and then came the true test – adding the cheese sauce.
I added in the mix and cheese packet and the first thing I noticed was just how smoothly I was able to mix everything together.
Usually, as the cheese thickens up it becomes a little more tricky to mix, but this wasn’t the case at all with the Caraway pot.

The mac and cheese came out great and before I knew it, it was time for our bedtime routine and I became completely distracted.
I ended up leaving the dirty dish for about 2 hours, or once my kids were in bed. When I went to do the dishes I was shocked – the cheese that had been in the pot was nearly coming off the pot all by itself!
Usually, the cheese would kind of crust onto the pot, turning doing the dishes into a strength workout for me trying to clean it off.
Not the case at all with Caraway.
The cheese basically came off on its own and when I added in a little water it all fell off.
After that, I was sold – these really do live up to the hype.
Caraway Bakeware Review
After my Mac and Cheese experiment, I decided to have a little fun and try out making brownies.
Similar to the pots and pans, the bakeware is ceramic and supposedly non-stick.
So does it actually work?
I’ll be honest- this test made me a little nervous. If you’ve ever made brownies or any other kind of baked good, then you know how messy it can be cleaning up if there isn’t enough coating on the pan.
But I committed and made these brownies without any coating – no spray, butter, nothing.
Just the pan and the brownie mix I made from the box.

I (nervously) poured the batter in and put the pan into the oven.
Then it was time for the hardest part: to wait.
I baked them on the lowest setting the box called for, 22 minutes, but the middle didn’t seem as done as I’d like so I added on 2 minutes.
They looked perfect after the extra 2 minutes so I excitedly pulled them out of the oven.
The first thing I noticed was the edges – from what I could see with my eye it didn’t look like they were sticking the even the edges of the pan.
This looked promising!
I waited another 5 minutes before trying to take them out so the pan could cool down a little more.

In the instructions, Caraway warns not to cut or use any metal object on the bakeware so I didn’t use anything to loosen the brownies.
In the back of my mind I thought about using a plastic spatula to loosen them but decided to really commit to this experiment and not use anything.
I’m so glad I did.
When I flipped the pan onto a baking sheet the brownies literally slid right out – COMPLETELY CLEAN!
No pieces were stuck to the pan except a little residue from the brownies (to be expected). I was shocked – this was AMAZING!
I even took a video of it that you can see here!
I let the brownies cool before cutting but again got distracted (#momlife).
I came back to wash the pan about an hour after making the brownies, and just like the mac and cheese, the residue from the brownies came off so easily with just water.
You can even see here how easily it comes off just with water and my finger.
So…Does It Work?
In addition to these 2 tests, I’ve been using Caraway for my daily cooking and baking and can say that Caraway does, in fact, live up to the hype.
These really are the best pots and pans I’ve ever used. They are non-stick, easy to clean, and look amazing.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that Caraway has completely changed my cooking and baking game.
I no longer dread making things that might be messy because I know that clean up will be a breeze.
If you’re looking to upgrade your cooking and bakeware, I highly recommend checking out Caraway.
I promise you won’t be disappointed! They are worth the investment and live up to the hype.
Final Thoughts
I absolutely love Caraway cookware and bakeware. They are non-stick, easy to clean, and look amazing.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an upgrade in their kitchen.
