Decocrated Review – Winter 2020 Box
Confession: I’m really bad at decorating. One of my goals this year is to spend more time learning how to decorate my house (thank you Pinterest!) and making our new house really our own.
I found an ad on Facebook for Decocrated and instantly fell in love with the idea. Decocrated is a subscription box that sends 6-9 high quality home decor items each quarter that were styled for each season. I ordered the Winter 2020 Box and was so excited when it arrived about a week later!

Inside the Winter 2020 Box

My first impression of the Winter Box was just how HUGE the box was – they really pack a ton into it. I was also really impressed with how high quality all the pieces were and that nothing was overly Christmas-y, which was one of my big concerns. I wanted the Winter Box decorations to be able to be used all winter – not just be another set of Christmas decorations.
Inside the box there’s a little styling guide that explains what’s inside the box, styling tips, color ideas, and lots of photo inspirations. I really liked that they also include tips on how to use items in the previous boxes with the new decor.
Inside the box was 8 items: a tabletop calendar, double sided art print, village houses, framed watercolor art, sled shelf, wooden boho snowflake, and a winter pillow cover.
Tabletop Calendar

This calendar is adorable and I’m planning to use it yearround! The calendar opens and had every date, month and even day of the week inside.
Double sided art print

A cute double sided card from one of Decocrated’s featured artist! One side features a little whimsical winter village, and the other says “Winter Wonderland”. I ordered this gold frame from Amazon (similar to the one they used in the sample photos in the styling booklet) for my print and it was perfect for it!

Village Houses

These houses are adorable! The box came with 3 houses and a green tree that have a wintery feel, but not overly Christmas-y. I plan to keep these houses on my buffet table throughout the winter.
Framed Art

This box’s framed art features watercolor botanicals in a wooden frame. It can be hung (there’s a little hook in the back) or displayed on a shelf. I decided to put mine behind the village houses for a little pop of color.
Sled Shelf

I am obsessed with this sled!! It’s super sturdy and so cute! The sled can be hung on a wall or put on a shelf. I currently have mine displayed on a shelf on our entryway, but I think next year I’m going to do a gallery wall display with it.
Winter pillow

I love this decorative pillow case! It’s cute whimsical trees that again aren’t overly Christmas-y. The box comes with just the pillow case so you’ll need to provide your own insert (I used this one).
Boho Snowflake

How cute is this snowflake?! The snowflake can be hung or sit on a shelf and is made of

Decorating with Decocrated
I used all the items in my Winter box to decorate my entryway table and buffet table. I loved how all the pieces went with the decorations I already had (including my favorite Target birds!) and nothing was over the top Christmas-y.

Conclusion
I highly recommend the Decocrated Winter 2020 box! The box is filled with high quality (and super stylish) home decor that you’ll actually use past Christmas and the holiday season. The only downside to the box is that not everything is included – like the picture frame or pillow insert – but once you have those things, you can reuse in future boxes. Overall, I’m really impressed with everything that came in my Winter box and can’t wait to see what arrives in the Spring box!
