Instant Pot Asparagus
The Instant Pot is a great kitchen appliance that has made cooking so much easier. It takes up little counter space, doesn’t heat up the house and you can use it to make a variety of different dishes. One dish that you might not have tried yet is asparagus!
We love fast and easy dinners and one of my favorite ways to put dinner on the table quick is to make asparagus in the Instant Pot. The Instant Pot makes the asparagus come out so tender and crisp in only a few minutes! Once you start making asparagus in the Instant Pot you won’t want to cook it any other way.

Recipe Tips and Variations
- It’s important to remove the asparagus as soon as the timer goes off on the Instant Pot. If the asparagus stays in the Instant Pot for too long, it can come out more mushy. I’ve found 1 minute on high manual pressure is the perfect amount of time (it’s normal for it to take a few more minutes to come to pressure)
- This recipe can be customized to your tastes! Add more or less olive oil and seasoning depending on your tastes.

What is Asparagus?
Asparagus is a vegetable that can be eaten raw, cooked or juiced. It has many health benefits due to its high levels of vitamins and minerals such as vitamin K, folate, manganese and potassium.
How to Store Leftovers
Once the asparagus has cooled, store the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days in the fridge. When you’re ready to eat, microwave for 30-60 seconds until heated through.

I don’t recommend freezing leftovers.
