Just Meats is perfect for busy individuals who want to add variety to their meals without sacrificing quality or taste.
Just Meats Delivery
The first thing I always look for with meal delivery services is how they ship their products.
Since we’re dealing with food here, proper handling and packaging is crucial. Just Meats delivered the meats in a chilled box with plenty of ice packs to keep everything fresh.
Not only that, but for the first time ever the box that it arrived in was also lined with insulation to ensure the meats stayed at the right temperature. This was a first for me with meal delivery kits!

Everything inside was cold and packaged nicely. Each type of meat was separated and labeled, making it easy to identify and organize in the fridge. It also came with accompanying sauces that were well-labeled in a bag.
Selection and Quality
Just Meats offers a wide range of high-quality meat options, from chicken breasts to steaks. They source their meat from local farms that use sustainable and ethical practices, which is definitely a plus.

The difference between Just Meats and some other meat delivery services is that the meat is already cooked. You just take it out of the container, heat it up with some of the marinade, and then serve. Heating only takes about 2 minutes in a skillet so it’s a pretty quick dinner!
Taste Test
One of the primary concerns when purchasing pre-packaged meats is the quality. You might wonder if the steak, chicken, or pork you’re getting from Just Meats is as good as what you’d select yourself at the grocery store.

I put their products to the test, cooking a variety of dishes throughout the week, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The meats were fresh and flavorful, and most importantly, they didn’t have that “packaged” taste that some other brands tend to have.
Since they’re already cooked, it was just a matter of reheating. One of my concerns with reheating meat is that it tends to get pretty dried out and tough to eat. This wasn’t the case with Just Meats – I found most of the meats extremely tender and tasty.

The only one that I had some issues with was the beef brisket, but that was more because it was fatty and not as tender to begin with.

The Variety Showdown
Meal prepping can become monotonous if you’re limited in your choices. With Just Meats, I found a decent array of options to spice up my weekly meal plan. From classic chicken breasts to more gourmet cuts of steak, there seems to be something for pretty much every one.
As for flavors, I found them approachable. I have two small kids at home so I have to be careful not to serve anything too spicy. They were able to eat all the meat except for buffalo chicken – that one was a little too spicy for them. My husband and I enjoyed it though!

Overall, I was impressed with the selection of meats and flavors available from Just Meats. It definitely made meal prep a whole lot easier and more enjoyable. Plus, not having to worry about quality or cooking times saved me a lot of time and energy that I could spend on other tasks throughout the week.
Price Comparison
The price for Just Meats is a little more expensive than you’d pay for regular, unprepared meats at the grocery store. 1 pound of chicken can start at $11 and higher end steaks can be closer to $17. However, when you factor in the convenience and quality of the meats, it may be worth the extra cost.
When I initially received them I thought it would be similar to Kevin’s brand meals, but I found I preferred Just Meats. Kevin’s tends to have a lot more sauce where Just Meats is exactly that – just meat. While they do provide a marinade packet it’s not a thick sauce like Kevin’s. Just Meats is also a lot faster to prepare and is ready in as quick as 2 minutes, wheres Kevin’s takes closer to 10.
When I calculated it out, each serving only came out to be about $2.33 each and that was worth it to me!
Tracking
One important thing to me is being able to track my food in nutrition apps like 1st Phorm. I was very happy to see that Just Meats nutritional information was already loaded into most of the apps I checked and it was accurate!
![nutritonal information for marinade](https://www.champagneandcoffeestains.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/just-meat-683x1024.jpg)
This made it even easier for me to track my protein intake and make sure I was hitting my goals.
The Verdict – Is Just Meats Worth the Hype?
My family became huge fans of Just Meats after our samplel. I especially loved the time savings and the fact that I didn’t have to sacrifice quality or flavor for convenience. Not only did it make meal prep easier, but it also added some variety to our usual dinner rotation. We were able to try new flavors and meats without having to do the extra work ourselves.
Overall, I would say Just Meats is definitely worth the buzz. Although slightly more expensive than regular grocery store meats, the convenience and quality make it a worthwhile investment. Plus, if you sign up for their subscription service, you can save even more money and always have delicious meats on hand for your meals.
