Lovevery Planner Playkit Review

Summer breaks can be a challenging time for us parents.

I’ve often found myself wandering the aisles of toy stores, trying to find that perfect toy or activity kit that’s not just another ‘5-minute wonder’.

You know the ones I’m talking about – those toys that excite our children for a short while, only to be discarded and forgotten by the next morning.

It’s even harder when we want toys that are not only engaging but also educational.

We want our kids to enjoy their break, sure, but we also want to ensure that they are still learning and growing.

And let’s be honest, not all toys meet that standard. The number of toys my daughter has breezed through, leaving them collecting dust, is a testament to how discerning young minds can be.

That’s why when I stumbled upon the Lovevery Planner Kit tailored for 58-60 month-olds, it felt like I’d found a gem.

This kit promised not just hours of entertainment, but also a comprehensive learning experience. Win win!

In this blog post, I’ll share what makes this kit special and if it lived up to its promises during our summer break escapades.

What is Lovevery?

For those who might be unfamiliar, let me take a moment to introduce you to Lovevery. Lovevery is more than just a toy company; it’s a brand dedicated to understanding and nurturing children’s developmental stages through purposeful play.

It all started for us with their ingenious playgyms, designed with both fun and developmental insights in mind.

But the magic didn’t stop there.

Lovevery offers a subscription service of quarterly boxes filled with toys and activities expertly tailored to your child’s age. Each box is thoughtfully curated to align with specific milestones, ensuring that as your child grows, their play evolves in tandem.

And it’s not just about the toys.

Every box comes with detailed play guides that offer insights into your child’s developmental journey and tips on maximizing the play experience.

My journey with Lovevery has been one of delightful discovery, watching my child engage with toys that not only entertain but also educate and foster growth.

If you’re in search of toys that keep pace with your child’s ever-evolving curiosity, Lovevery is definitely worth exploring.

Inside the Planner Kit

When our Planner Kit arrived we were so excited! My daughter is turning 5 years old in a few weeks and has started to show a strong interest in math and patterns so this kit looked perfect!

When the box arrived we were excited to find inside:

Plan and Prepare Clock with Mini Clock

Energy in Motion Wooden Ball Ramps

Rover Route

Flex Four Pattern Match

Dominoes

Savy’s Scavenger Hunt Book

And a play guide.

Playing with the Kit

The first thing my daughter wanted to try out was the Wooden Ball Ramp. Remember that game Mouse Trap where you’d roll a marble through a little course? This reminded me of it!

The kit comes with all different wooden paths and raisers so you can make your own course for the marble to roll down.

We had a lot of fun trying different configurations and thankfully Lovevery also included a guide to give us some ideas to try out.

We also had fun setting up the dominoes at the end and working together to get the marble to knock over the pattern we made.

Another big hit in our house was the clock and mini clock. My daughter has been very interested in telling time and with this clock we’ve been able to help her learn how to tell time on a traditional clock.

It’s also been fun to use the clock to help with cleanup. I’ve been able to put a marker on the clock to show 15 minutes for cleanup and she’s able to follow along with the clock and start to get an idea of time.

Our Review

The Planner kit has quickly become my daughter’s favorite kit that she’s received. She’s spent hours playing with the marble wooden ball set alone and has come up with some really creative designs.

I also love that the toys tie into the phases of life that we’re going through. My daughter is very into science and math and doing experiments lately, and this kit has been perfect for doing our own little experiments.

Whether it’s predicting the path of the marble on the wooden ball set or learning about sequencing with the Rover Route, every component of this kit has been both fun and educational.

The Flex Four Pattern Match has been great for refining her pattern recognition skills. We’ve had countless sessions, aligning the color links to match the cards.

It’s a simple activity but one that holds her attention and reinforces crucial cognitive skills.

“Savy’s Scavenger Hunt” book added a refreshing touch of storytelling and empathy-building to our playtime. It not only provided us with a break from the hands-on activities, but it also gave us a chance to discuss emotions and the impact our reactions can have on others.

It’s these moments of deeper connection and learning that make the Lovevery kits truly stand out.

Lovevery’s Planner Kit has been a total win for us this summer break. The blend of entertainment and educational value is unmatched.

If you’re looking for a toy kit that aligns with your child’s development and keeps them engaged for more than just a fleeting moment, I wholeheartedly recommend diving into the Lovevery experience.

Is a Lovevery Kit Worth It?

I’ve had friends and family ask if Lovevery is worth it and I fully believe it is. The toys inside are educational and all tie into a theme. I also love that the toys are multifunctional so you can use them for a few activities.

The parent guide book is really helpful on learning different ways to us the toys, as well as help teach what the benefits are

of each toy in terms of cognitive, motor, and sensory development. Moreover, the quality of the materials used ensures longevity, so these aren’t just toys that will be played with for a few weeks and then discarded.

They can be reused, reimagined, and even passed down.

The value isn’t just in the toys themselves but in the holistic experience they offer, combining play with learning in the most natural way.

So, to answer the question succinctly: Yes, a Lovevery Kit is absolutely worth it, both for the sheer joy it brings to our children and for the invaluable developmental benefits it imparts.

Where to Buy

Lovevery Kits subscription kits can be purchased on their website here. They also make it really easy to give a subscription as a gift too!

Final Thoughts

As summer days meld into one another and the initial excitement of the break begins to wane, finding sustainable, engaging activities for our children becomes paramount.

The Lovevery Planner Kit not only met but exceeded my expectations in this regard. Reflecting upon the myriad of toys and kits we’ve brought into our home over the years, few stand out as distinctly as this one.

The versatility of the toys, coupled with their deep educational foundation, ensures that they continue to be relevant and appealing.

Moreover, the sheer quality of the materials speaks to Lovevery’s dedication to producing long-lasting products that can endure the rigorous play routines of active kids.

Beyond the toys themselves, Lovevery’s commitment to educating parents is evident. Their guidebook isn’t just an afterthought; it’s a comprehensive tool that has empowered me to engage more effectively with my daughter, enhancing our playtime with valuable developmental insights.

In a market teeming with transient toys and fleeting fads, Lovevery provides a breath of fresh air. Their kits are a testament to the belief that play can be both fun and profoundly educational.

As parents, we are constantly seeking the best for our children. And in Lovevery, I believe we’ve found a partner that shares that mission wholeheartedly.

To any parent on the fence about investing in a Lovevery kit, I offer this sentiment: Consider it not just a purchase but an investment in your child’s developmental journey.

It’s a choice I made and one I’d gladly make again.
