I Tried Peak Cocktails and Here’s What Happened

I’m a sucker for Instagram and Facebook ads. This month I’ve gotten so many ads for new non alcoholic drinks and I was getting really curious. I’ve been working on cutting back on drinking, especially while marathon training, and these non alcoholic drinks looked very promising.

One of the brands that caught my attention was Peak Cocktails and I decided to give them try!

Peak Cocktails advertises itself as a cocktail for athletes to help them recover, without any alcohol or negative side effects.

But does it actually work?

I decided to try it out and ordered a sampler pack. In this post I’ll share with you my experience and if they’re worth checking out.

My Review

I ordered the variety pack that contained both of the flavors Peak Cocktails currently has: Passion Fruit Margarita and Blood Orange Spritz. I was really happy that they shipped pretty quickly and a few days after I ordered they arrived!

The first one I tried was the Passion Fruit Margarita. This one is like a spicy margarita and has hints of jalapeno – and they weren’t kidding when they say hints! I found this one to be really strong in flavor on it’s own, but when I diluted it with a little ice it tasted a lot better to me.

The second one I tried was the Blood Orange Spritz. This one tasted a lot lighter and sweeter than the Passion Fruit, but it still had a really nice flavor. It had a little fizz to it and made me feel like I was sipping on a fancy cocktail.

Both the margarita and spritz left me feeling more relaxed after drinking them and were a really great way to destress after a long day. I found that one at night was perfect at helping me wind down and relax. It wasn’t the same feeling as alcohol has, but it did the job of relaxing me and the next morning I didn’t have any side effects as I do with wine!
