What is Peloton Homecoming Weekend?

Peloton Homecoming Weekend is an exciting event the company hosts once every year. The weekend includes a speaker series with Peloton’s CEO and other influential people, as well as community gatherings all over the world lead by Peloton ambassadors to share their experiences in person. Usually the event is held in person in New York, but this year it’s being held online so everyone can attend!

New Features Coming in 2021

During the keynote with John Foley on Day 1 a bunch of new and exciting features were announced! The big announcements include:

  • Pause Button to On Demand Workouts – FINALLY! Peloton will be rolling out a pause button to tread and bike members this year. November 2021 Update: The Pause Button is here for the bike! Here’s how to use it!
  • Strive Score Metric – This is a new metric that gives you a score during workouts (Tread, Bike and Strength) based on your heart rate. This kind of reminds me of the Orangetheory “Splat” points. For more info, check out Peloton’s blog post here. Update: Here’s my review of the new Strive Scores and how I’m using it.
  • New Scenic Rides and Runs – Peloton is releasing new updated scenic rides and runs starting this weekend! Update: Here’s my review of the new rides!

It hasn’t been announced how to get one or who will receive one yet. Keep an eye on your mailbox to see if you’re one of the lucky members to get one!
