How to Find Peloton Classes in the Clouds on Your Next Delta Flight

This week my family and I were traveling and when we got on to our plan I was so surprised to see an ad for Peloton! It turns out Peloton and Delta have a partnership where Peloton provides access to their classes on all Delta flights! I had a chance to check it out and in this post I’ll share with you everything you need to know about these Peloton Classes in the Clouds.

What are Classes in the Clouds?

Peloton Classes in the Clouds are Peloton classes that were recorded specially for Delta flights. The classes are all ones that you can do right in your seat (and they won’t annoy your neighbor). The classes are open to anyone to take so you don’t need a Peloton membership to try it out.

How to Access Classes

Finding the Peloton classes was a little tricker than I thought it would be. I ended up putting together a little video to show you how to navigate to the classes.

YouTube video

To find the Peloton classes, go into the Delta on board entertainment main screen.

Click on “Series”

Under series, filer to “Health and Wellness” (it was on the second screen for me)

Click on Peloton App – Classes in the Clouds

You’ll now have a playlist show and you can select which workout to do!

Equipment Needed

To do these classes, you’ll need a pair of headphones. I’ve found that Delta flights don’t work with bluetooth headphones, like Air Pods, so I really like a pair of wired headphones like these. The workouts are all meditations and stretches so no additional equipment, like weights or a mat, is needed.

You could also access these workouts on your phone if you’re connected to Delta’s wifi (which is free to access their entertainment system, no internet purchase required). If you connect through your phone or tablet then you can use bluetooth headphones.

If you’ve forgotten headphones completely, Delta does sell them on the flight. Peloton also has closed captions on the classes as well.

My Thoughts

I really like that Peloton has this offering! It would be fun to see a special badge or something for completing a class, but since there’s no way to log into your Peloton account there isn’t a way to earn anything for taking them (nor do they count towards any milestones).

I’ve only flown once since these have been released so I’m not really sure how often they update the classes (if you know please let us know in the comments!). It’s nice that they have a mix of instructors teaching them and a variety of classes available.

Conclusion

If you’re traveling with Delta soon I highly recommend checking out the Peloton Classes in the Clouds series. While these classes won’t count towards any milestones or show up in your profile, they’re a fun way to make the time go by. I really hope that Peloton continues with this series and adds more classes in the future!
