Types of Gift Cards
Peloton officially has one type of gift card: apparel. These gift cards can only be used to purchase Peloton apparel on their website. Unofficially, Reddit users have claimed that they were able to purchase gift cards to use for Peloton monthly memberships, but in order to do so they had to e-mail customer service.
However, as the studio opens and more in-person classes are being offered I can see Peloton adding a studio gift card option in the future since these in-person classes aren’t covered by Peloton monthly memberships. If this becomes an option I’ll update this post to include details on how to use this option!
How to Buy Gift Cards
To buy gift cards, go to the Peloton Apparel website and search for “gift cards” (or you can click here). This will bring up a page where you can purchase an e-gift card for any amount between $25-$200 (in $25 increments). One thing to note is that these are digital gift cards only so you won’t receive a physical gift card in the mail.
Once you purchase the gift card, you’ll get an e-mail with a code to redeem your gift card. The biggest thing to note is that Peloton gift cards at this time can only be used on apparel on Peloton’s Apparel website here. Gift cards cannot be used in showrooms at this time. I think this is because the apparel website seems to operate independently from Peloton showrooms and the equipment purchasing system, but this is just my guess.
Another thing to note is that gift cards need to be purchased separately in the Peloton store. If you have merchandise in your cart the gift card purchase won’t work. You also can’t use referral credits to purchase gift cards.

How To Redeem Gift Cards
Redeeming gift cards is super easy! Once you have your code, you can log into Peloton’s apparel website and shop like normal. Once you’re done shopping, on the checkout screen you’ll see a prompt where you can enter the code. Unlike referral credits, you don’t need to use the entire gift card in one purchase.
Gifting Ideas
Since the Peloton gift card is digital, there are lots of cute ways to give your gift! Some of my favorite ways to give the gift card are:
- Inside a Peloton Water Bottle or Coffee Mug
- Inside a cute card (I love these Peloton ones!)
- With a custom shirt with their favorite Peloton instructor’s quote
Final Thoughts
Peloton gift cards are a great birthday or holiday gift for that hard-to-shop-for Peloton fan in your life. But before you purchase one, make sure you know what kind of gift card you’re buying and how to use it!
