Since we’ve been spending more time at home this winter we decided to have a little fun and try out a few new subscription boxes. I’ve been obsessed with subscription boxes for a while (like my Decocrated box) and recently ordered a Raddish Kids Cooking Club box for my daughter. The box arrived and it was more adorable than I imagined!

What is Raddish Kids?

Raddish Kids is a monthly subscription box that sends 3 seasonal recipes that are designed to be made by kids and teens (with a little help from adults). The box includes laminated recipe cards with easy to follow instructions, a kitchen tool needed for the recipe (like a utensil or in our case a pancake mold), an activity, table talk cards, and a sew on patch. Each box has a different seasonal theme and our theme was “Snowed Inn”

What’s Included in a Raddish Kids Box?

Inside every box you’ll get:

  • 3 laminated recipe cards
  • 3 culinary skill cards
  • Kitchen project
  • Kid friendly tools and collectibles like a kid friendly utensil – like a silicone pancake mold that was in our box

Inside our Snowed Inn box was the following recipes cards:

  • Alpine Pancakes
  • Chocolate Snowball Cookies
  • Cozy Chicken and Dumplings

In addition to the recipe cards, the box came with a nonstick snowflake pancake mold, a special Snowed Inn Patch, directions to make Hot Cocoa Mix gifts (and gift tags).

I was so impressed with the quality of the recipe cards and pancake mold! The recipe cards are laminated so you don’t have to worry about spilling anything on them or accidentally ripping them. They’re also written out very clearly (and images) so kids can follow along with the recipes easily.

The back of the recipe card also has tips and tricks for each recipe. On the back of the Alpine pancakes recipe it taught us tips on preparing pancakes.

The Snowed Inn kit also came with an activity to make our own Hot Cocoa Mix gifts! This is an adorable little activity that is perfect for gift giving – and Raddish also sent gift tags that included instructions!

The box also included Table Talk cards which are different questions for the family to ask each other.

Overall we were really impressed with the box and had a lot of fun making the recipes (the Alpine Pancakes were the biggest hit in our house!). My daughter is a little too young to do the recipes on her own so I did help her but she loved looking at the recipe cards and helping mix the recipes.

If you’re looking for a fun family friendly subscription box I highly recommend checking out Raddish Kids Cooking Club.

Yes! The recipes all include a link to a website version of the recipe that includes variations for almost every dietary need.

Does Raddish Kids Include Ingredients?

The subscription box does not include the ingredients needed to make the recipes, but they will e-mail a recipe list ahead of time so you can buy the ingredients before the box arrives.
