What is Southwest Spice Blend?
The spices are similar to chili powder but much more flavorful. Sometimes called southwest seasoning or southwestern blend, the spices were made famous by the Hello Fresh meal kit company. However, you don't have to subscribe to Hello Fresh or purchase their kits to use this wonderful spice blend. It's so easy to make your own at home!
The nice thing about making your own Southwest Spice Blend is that you can customize it based on your liking. Add more chili powder to make the seasoning a little spicier, or scale it back to make it milder.
