The holidays for us are jammed pack with travel. Between traveling to Boston and Michigan, the season is filled with lots of airplane trips. When Aubrey was younger the trip were pretty easy - make sure we had enough diapers and formula, feed her on take off and then she'd pretty much sleep the entire trip. But now that she's a toddler it's changed a lot. I'm constantly on the hunt for new toys and activities that will keep her entertained, and not annoy the other passengers around us. Here are the travel toys we’ve been loving lately.

Table of Contents
Busy Board
Last month we visited a new play cafe and Aubrey was fascinated with a busy board wall - a wall filled with buckles, snaps, zippers and laces. I went on Amazon and found this compact one and it's been a hit! It's about the size of a tray table and it's flexible. We've taken it on 3 trips now and it's always guaranteed to keep Aubrey entertained for a while.
Coloring Book
We like this travel coloring book because not only is it smaller and compact, but it also has washable markers that come off really easily. The pages can also be cleaned off quickly with just a little water so the book can be reused.
Poke a Dot Books
Remember those little dots that marked the type of soda on drink covers at fast food restaurants? I used to love popping them and now there's even a book to do it! The Poke a Dot books countdown animals using the dots (don't worry they're not too loud either). The only downside to the book is that it's also a board book so it makes it a little heavy to carry around.
Dimpl Toy
This is an oldie but goodie - we got this for a trip back in October and it's still keeping Aubrey (and me) entertained. It's similar to the poke a dot books except it's just large dots to pop. This is easy to carry around and is a staple in my diaper bag now.
Snacks
Ok not a toy but a travel essential (no one wants a hangry toddler!). We like to bring Kashi super food bites, Goldfish and Yogi Yogurt bites - basically easy snacks I can pull out and give to Aubrey. I also like to travel with a water cup (these Munchkin weighted straw cups are our favorites right now - plus a lanyard so she isn't throwing it everywhere) so I can refill her water throughout the airport.
I hope this list helps you with your travel this holiday season! Traveling with a baby is never easy, but I've found these few things have made it more enjoyable for all of us.
