It's here!!! Right as I was starting to run out of snacks from my Universal Yums Holiday box, my new box arrived just in time! This month featured snacks from The Netherlands and we were so excited to dig in. We've tried stroopwaffles and other candies in the past so were excited to get to try some new snacks.

Inside the Universal Yums Netherlands Box
Warning: This post containers spoilers on what's inside the new Netherlands box! If you want to be surprised skip to the conclusion.

Sour Cream and Onion Potato Chips
This month included a randomly selected flavor of chips - Salt and Pepper, Cheese and Onion or Sour Cream and Onion. These were super tasty and I loved how crunchy they were. I'd love to try the Cheese and Onion ones next!
Caramel Stroopwaffle
I was so excited when I saw a stroopwaffle in the box! They're soft cookie/waffles with a little caramel drizzle and so delicious. These stroopwaffles didn't disappoint! They were super tasty and not overly sweet (and paired perfectly with my afternoon coffee).
Dutch Candy Cars
I loved the sweet flavor of these - it reminded me of a slightly more sweet Swedish fish - but found towards the end they were just a little too chewy and sticky for my liking.
Sour Watermelon Candies
These candies brought me back to when I was a kid and was obsessed with Warhead candies (are those still around!? Edit- yup! Found them on Amazon!). The Watermelon candies weren't as sour as I remember the Warheads being, and instead were slightly sour on the outside and then turned slightly gummy inside. They were addicting!
Aged Gouda Cheese Crispies
These were so good! They were perfectly cheesy but not overwhelming.
Soft Licorice and Fruit Gummies
I'm not a huge fan of black licorice so didn't care much for these but my husband loved them.
Sour Violet Candies
I was nervous when I read the description that these were violet flavor and that it'd be an overpowering floral flavor, but it wasn't the case at all. They were sweet and smooth. I loved these but my husband wasn't as much of a fan of them.
Chocolate Covered Kruidnoten Cookies
Spice cookies and chocolate? OH YEAH!! These were one of the first snacks we devoured when the box arrived.
Dutch Speculaas
Universal Yums described this as the "coziest spice cookie" and it completely lived up to that description! These were hands down the best spice cookie I ever had - and thankfully they included a full size box!
Hazelnut Cream Milk Chocolate Bar
Chocolate and hazelnut are my weakness and this chocolate bar was delicious. It was hard to share LOL
Dutch Licorice Bites
These were similar to a black licorice, which my husband loved. They weren't overly chewy but did have a strong flavor to them.
Cheddar and Raspberry Cheese Crispies
This was an interesting combo. The crackers were super cheesy and then had a slight hint of raspberry at the end, which oddly enough really worked! We ate them straight out of the box but the bag recommended trying them warmed up slightly.
