What is Universal Yums?

They also offer a holiday box once a year where they curate a collection of the best holiday foods across the world. They started working on this year’s box back in April!

What Size Boxes are Available?

Universal Yums comes in 3 different box sizes:

• Yum Box: 6+ snacks in each box, plus 12 page booklet with trivia and games. This is the smallest box they currently offer.
• Yum Yum Box: 12+ snacks in each box, plus a 16 page booklet with trivia and games, and bonuses like recipes, trivia and more. This is the medium sized box they offer.
• Super Yum Box: 20+ snacks in each box, 16 page booklet with trivia and games, and extra bonuses like recipes. This is the largest box they offer.

How much is a Universal Yum Subscription?

A subscription can vary depending on how long you subscribe to Universal Yum for. If you prepay for a year of boxes then the pricing is lower than if you have a month to month subscription. Currently pricing ranges are (US $):

• Yum Box: $13.75-$15 per box
• Yum Yum Box: $22.92 – $25 per box
• Super Yum Box: $35.75 – $39 per box

All boxes include free shipping in the US.

What Age is Universal Yums for?

The boxes are for any age! There are trivia and activities in the booklets that kids will like (I’d say about age 3 and up) as well as these boxes are a fun adult activity (perfect date night in idea!!). My toddler’s a little young to understand the trivia and do the activities but she had so much fun taste testing the different snacks.

Inside the Universal Yums 2020 Holiday Box (Spoilers!)

We got the Yum Yum (medium sized) 2020 Holiday Box and were so impressed with how much came inside it – it was almost overflowing when we opened it! (spoiler alert – skip ahead now if you don’t want to see what’s inside!)

Inside the Holiday 2020 Box:

• Roast Turkey & Stuffing Potato Chips from the UK
• Salted Egg Yolk Popcorn from Taiwan
• Chocolate Cream Pandero from Italy
• Sea Salt and Caramel Fudge from England
• Apple and Dark Chocolate Dominosteins from Germany

My box also came with a booklet that explained all the snacks they sent, including where they came from, nutritional information (in English), and any allergy alerts – there was only 1 in this box. The booklet also has traditional holiday recipes from around the world, trivia, and some New Year’s holiday tradition activities.

How Often are Boxes Sent?

Boxes are sent monthly and feature a different country in each one (and a special holiday edition at the end of the year).

Is Universal Yums Safe?

Safety is Universal Yums top priority! Universal Yums has direct relationships with all the vendors and holds them to high standards to their packaging and food quality.

Universal Yums also sends all food with English translations so you know exactly what ingredients and nutritional information is in each of the snacks. Every snack in my Holiday box came securely sealed and fresh.

Does Universal Yums offer Gift Subscriptions?

After I got my first box I instantly thought this would be a really cool gift to give my nieces and nephews. Universal Yums offers gift subscriptions in a few different lengths:

Is Universal Yum Worth It?

Universal Yums is a super fun snack box that doubles as an educational activity. I love that it has a wide appeal and can be used as an educational (and tasty) tool for kids, as well as it can be a fun adult’s date night in. It’s the perfect indoor family activity and is definitely worth the value.
