As a busy mom with three kids, I am always on the lookout for tools that can help me manage our family’s hectic schedule. That’s why when I came across the Skylight Calendar, I knew it was going to be a game-changer for us.

One of the best things about Skylight is its simple yet sleek design. The calendar itself looks like a modern picture frame, making it a seamless addition to our home decor. It’s also incredibly easy to use, which was a relief for someone like me who is not the most tech-savvy.
But what truly sets Skylight apart from other calendar apps is its integration with subscribed calendars.
My husband is an Android user and can easily sync his Google Calendar and other subscribed calendars onto the display through the mobile app. I’m an Apple user and am able to great my iCal to sync no problem!
I’m also able to see both of our calendars on the Skylight App on my phone.
One feature that has been particularly useful for us is the interactive chore chart. My husband and I use it as a project manager and can assign tasks and set deadlines for each other, making it easier for us to stay on top of household responsibilities.
I’ve also started using it for chores for my kids and have created to-do list for them.
This is a great way to get them used to doing chores from a young age. Everyone in the family has their own color and likes being able to check off their routine tasks and seeing their progress bar update.
I also really like the built-in meal planner. My kids used to always ask me what we were having for dinner, and now I can program into the digital frame every meal that is planned plus It has a grocery list so my husband is able to see anything we might need when he’s at the store. It’s made making my family’s meal plan a lot easier.
Another aspect that we love about Skylight is its ability to display photos. We have subscribed to Skylight’s photo sharing app and use the photo screen saver as a digital photo frame when it’s not in schedule view. It’s been really fun to be able to instantly upload photos right to the calendar and see recent pictures.
We were also able to share our custom family calendar link to our whole family so they can also send us pictures. My kids get so excited each morning to see their favorite photos pop up!
The calendar also has a sleep mode so at night it’ll go dark during the night to save on power.
