Solly Baby Wrap Review

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I started hearing about baby wearing and how convenient it would be. I did a quick google search, found a structured carrier that was rated pretty well and was so excited to receive it at my baby shower.

Fast forward to my daughter arrived and I quickly realized that this big bulky baby carrier I had registered for just didn’t appeal to me. It was insanely hot outside and this carrier just made me sweat even more. Plus, it seemed so bulky and I didn’t want a ton of material between me and my newborn.

I started noticing Solly wrap showing up on my Instagram and decided to give it a try. I liked how lightweight the wraps looked, stylish, and how easy everyone said they were to use.

What is a Solly Wrap?

Solly Wrap is a lightweight baby carrier that wraps around the body. The wrap distributes the weight of a baby evenly so there’s no pain in your shoulders or back. It’s a front facing baby carrier so baby will always be close to you! The wraps are also incredibly soft, machine washable and can fold into a compact pocket so you can throw it into your diaper bag.

When my wrap arrived I was so nervous. Baby wraps had always confused me – I can barely tie a knot never mind wrap some material around me to support my newborn!

Thankfully there’s youtube and after watching the instruction video a few times (and testing it out with a teddy bear) I felt confident enough to try it out with my daughter.

I WAS IN LOVE!

The wrap really was incredibly comfortable for both me and my daughter – she actually ended up falling asleep in it. I could move around no problem and wasn’t sweating like crazy, plus it actually looked as good in person as it did on the website!

I used my Solly Wrap pretty much every day and was amazed at how well the wrap held up – the wrap actually still looks brand new!

• Incredibly soft – the wraps were so soft and comfortable, both for me and my daughter! Half the time I would forget I even had it on because of how comfy it was.

How to Care for Solly Wrap

Solly wraps are machine washable and should be washed alone, in cold water and then low tumble dry heat. The reasoning behind washing them alone is so nothing can rip or tear the material.

How Long is a Wrap?

The wraps are 5.5 yards long and do have a built in pocket so they can be folded up neatly.
