In this post, I'll be discussing the Power Zone Pack Time Crunch option, a 3-ride a week schedule designed for busy people who want to complete their Power Zone Challenge but have a limited amount of time to do so.
How Power Zone Pack Time Crunch Challenge Works
The Power Zone Challenge is a popular cycling program that focuses on improving your fitness level and overall performance on the bike.
It offers a structured training plan that helps individuals achieve their goals while also providing them with valuable feedback and motivation.

One of the new features of the Power Zone Challenge is its time crunch option. This option caters to individuals who have a busy schedule and may not be able to commit to the full program.
It allows them to participate in the challenge while balancing their other responsibilities.
The time crunch option in the Power Zone Challenge involves working out for three days a week for a maximum of 45 minutes, unlike the original that can have longer classes.
This makes it more manageable for those who have limited time but still want to see improvements in their cycling abilities.
The three days of training in the time crunch option include two 30-minute workouts and one 45-minute or longer ride. The shorter workout sessions are designed to be more intense, making every minute count.
This allows you to get a quality workout in a shorter period of time.
By following the time crunch option, participants can still make significant progress and see improvements in their endurance, speed, and overall performance.
It's a great option for those who have busy schedules but still want to challenge themselves and reach their cycling goals.
Benefits of the Time Crunch Option
Besides saving time with the Time Crunch option, one of the biggest benefits from doing this plan is if you're using the Power Zone challenge for cross training.
If you're doing a different sport the other days of the week, this option is perfect for fitting in your cycling workouts.

I like to use Power Zone Challenges during my offseason from running as a way to cross train. My miles aren't as high during the offseason so I'm able to add on a little more cardio without taking away from my running performance.
The PZP team has also added on a new Time Crunch option that combines the 3 rides a week with 2 rowing classes.
